Short answer
QuickCalo is a calorie tracking tool for personal use, and its values are not medical advice. Premium is a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription; the annual plan includes a 1 month free trial. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; cancellations and refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play.
Acceptance
By downloading or using the QuickCalo app, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies in addition to these terms.
Use of the app
QuickCalo is a calorie and protein tracking tool for personal, non-commercial use. The free version allows 3 AI analyses per day; Premium removes this limit and adds features. Features, limits and recipes may change with app updates.
Medical disclaimer
The calorie, protein, calorie goal and goal date values in QuickCalo are estimates made with AI and formulas; they are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of eating disorders, live with a chronic condition, or are under 18, plan your nutrition with a doctor or dietitian. Do not make health decisions based solely on the app's values.
Subscriptions and free trial
- Plans: Premium is offered as monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. The current price is shown in the app and in the store confirmation before you buy (for example, in the US $1.99 per month and $14.99 per year).
- Free trial: The annual plan offers a 1 month free trial to accounts the store considers eligible. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the annual subscription starts when the trial ends.
- Payment: Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase (for a plan with a trial, when the trial ends).
- Buying during a trial: If you purchase a subscription during a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited according to the store's rules.
Auto-renewal and cancellation
A subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged to your store account within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. See Apple or Google Play for the steps.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their own refund policies; because QuickCalo does not take payments directly, it cannot issue refunds. See Apple's refund page for iPhone or Google Play refund policies for Android.
Unacceptable use
You may not use the app or the analysis server to:
- submit illegal, harmful or obscene content, or content that infringes others' rights;
- send automated, bulk or out-of-app requests to the server, or try to bypass rate limits;
- reverse-engineer, copy or modify the app, or try to circumvent its security measures;
- resell the app or its results as part of a commercial service.
Access to the server may be restricted if these rules are broken.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, recipes and text belong to QuickCalo or their respective owners and may not be reproduced without written permission. The logs you enter in the app belong to you.
Limitation of liability
QuickCalo is provided "as is". AI estimates can be wrong, and we do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app, including inaccurate calorie estimates. Your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract remain unaffected.
Changes
We may update these terms; when we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page changes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
